An Israeli construction firm that allegedly built the house where the money was found listed the former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Muazu as its client.
But Mr Muazu through his media aide has denied ownership of the Ikoyi building.
“Mr Muazu does not own any house in Ikoyi except his house at Walter Carrington street, Victoria Island Lagos,” his media aide stated.
On Wednesday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) busted a home where it says it recovered huge sums of money in Dollars, Pounds and in Naira.
Thirty-eight million Dollars, 23 million Naira and another 27,000 Pounds, from an apartment somewhere in the Ikoyi area of Lagos state.
The agency did not disclose details of the home from which the huge cash was recovered, it says it recovered 38 million Dollars, 23 million Naira and another 27,000 Pounds, from an apartment in the Ikoyi area of Lagos state.
