Breaking: WAEC Officially Announces Release of WASSCE Results for 2017 School Candidates

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) today Monday 17, 2017 officially released results of the 2017 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

This announcement was formally made at a well attended press briefing at the council’s Yaba office by Dr Olu Isaac Adenipekun, head of the national office (HNO).

“Today, Monday the 17th day of July, 2017, I am happy to announce the release of the results of candidates that sat the WASSCE for school candidates, 2017 in Nigeria.” Said WAEC HNO.  A total of 923,486 (nine hundred and twenty three thousand four hundred and eighty six) candidates, representing 59.22%, obtained minimum of credits in five (5) subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics.”
