The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the demise of Mrs. Bolanle Adejoke Ojeleye (Nee Bakre) who died after a brief illness.
The examination body made this known on Tuesday in a statement made available to the media. According to the statement Mrs. Adegoke who died at the age of 56-year was the director of finance, WAEC in Lagos.
The statement added that she passed away on the 8th of January, 2018 but delayed the announcement to get her family consent.
Late Mrs. Ojeleye was born on 6th September, 1962. She hails from Isonyin in Ijebu North East Local Government Area of Ogun state.
She joined the services of the West African Examinations Council on 2nd January, 1990 as an Accountant.
In the course of her career in the Council, she worked in different offices and in various capacities, National Office, Yaba 1990-2002 , Test Development Division, Ogba 2002-2005 , National Office, Yaba 2005-2017.
She is survived by her mother, husband (Pastor Tunde Ojeleye), children, grandchildren and siblings.
Service of Songs will be held in her honour by 5pm on Wednesday, the 24th of January 2018 at RCCG Church of The Firstborn, LP28 Headquarters, Plot 11-13, Ogudu GRA Scheme 2, Ogudu, Lagos.
Burial takes place by 12noon on Thursday, the 25th of January 2018 at Vaults and Garden, Ikoyi after a Funeral Service at by 10am at RCCG Church of The Firstborn, LP28 Headquarters, Plot 11-13, Ogudu GRA Scheme 2, Ogudu, Lagos same day.
