Breaking: IBB’s Letter: Afegbua Slams Police With N1 billion Suit At Federal High Court

The last has not been heard about the spokesperson to former Military President, Ibrahim Babangida, Mr. Kassim Afegbua and the Nigeria Police just as he (Afegbua) slammed a N1 billion suit against the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris with Mr. Jimoh Moshood, force spokesperson, Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) and Channels Television listed as respondents.

The suit, a fundamental human rights procedure brought through originating motion of notice, seeks to enforce Afegbua’s fundamental human rights.

In a 15 paragraph affidavit filed by his counsel, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, at the Federal High Court Abuja, Afegbua is faulting the police declaring him wanted as well as the procedure undertaken by the police to witch-hunt, harass, intimidate and persecute him on the basis of a letter he wrote on behalf of his principal, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida GCFR, when his principal has not lodge any formal complaint to the Police or any other security agency.
