Hon. Akinlaja commeneded the organizers for creating such high profile platform of international exhibition for stakeholders in the oil and gas sector, national and international companies and potential investors coming together to deliberate, engender new technologies among other things in the petroleum sector to drive prosperity and put Africa in her place of pride through proper maximization of her God-given resources.
Nigeria’s petroleum minister on his part, Dr Ibe Kachikwu who was ably represented by Dr. Gbite Adeniji, his Special Technical Adviser (STA) extolled the Summit for providing veritable platform for intellectual discourse, knowledge sharing and showcasing giant strides made by the industry.
He further rated high the current reform of the African Petroleum Producers Organisation, championed by Nigeria as a major key collaborative effort that must be pursued to achieve the Continent’s lofty aspirations as a geopolitical bloc.
